Can Pippin do it by himself? Everyone's most hated Hobbit is going wandering on his own. Bilbo Baggins and Sam Gamgee are just there to occasionally offer moral support to our lonely Hobbit (and pipe shenanigans).
The idea is to stack him with songs each round to make him a questing monster with Fireside Song and eventually make him an unstoppable fighter using the Golden Shield+A Burning Brand+Fast Hitch+Herugrim combo. He obviously needs Golden Belt to have all 3 restricted attachments in play at once. In the meantime any enemies that engage him are pushed back to the staging area using his ability and can be dealt with using Ride Them Down. Bilbo can and should be used as a chump blocker, to help manage threat in the staging area (Pippin's ability is costly if you're using it every round) and get more pipes into play to get the best use out of Smoke Rings. Locations will need to be travelled to and explored in order to avoid getting location locked but you should have enough to push through most locations in a single turn.
You'll be attaching Strider at the beginning of the game to quest for 4 out the doors and protect Pippin from anything that targets exhausted characters. If Strider is in your starting hand, look for a Song of Wisdom so you can attach Love of Tales to Pippin.
Ideally you want to look for a Hobbit Pipe or Bilbo Baggins in your starting hand to get some card draw. Try to save your threat reduction cards until after you've got at least one pipe out as that's worth between 9-27 cards drawn and there should be more than enough threat reduction to get you out of trouble for using Pippin's ability a lot. I know it's a big deck but you should be drawing multiple cards every other turn and Pippin allows you to stall long enough to get everything you need. You should be able to draw pretty much all of your deck most playthroughs. The other most important card in the deck is Fireside Song which will turn Pippin into a ludicrous quester and later attacker and defender using the rohan attachments combo described above.
