1.1 Hunt for Gollum
Description
Playing Progression. Won on the first try, but these weren't optimized decks.
The encounter deck has 46 cards, and I only got 1 clue in the first half. And then it got returned to the encounter deck via False Lead (returns a clue of the first player to the encounter deck). So I got to stage 3 with 0 clues, and had to go back to stage 2 with no progress. Stalled for a bunch of turns and was scared of threating out, but I got two clues with 12 encounter cards left in the deck. Then used Faramir twice in one turn (using Ever Vigilant), to increase my two clue'd heros (Aragorn with Celebrian's Stone (gives +2 questing) + 2 from Faramir for 4 total), and Eowyn with a discarded card from both players (so 4 base + 2 from discards + 2 from Faramir for 8 total). Questing with 12 and using two Secret Paths to null two locations' threats and a Sneak Attack'd Gandalf to kill an enemy that revealed from the Encounter deck. Was able win the third round in one turn.
