warlock000 has a newer deck inspired by this one: A Gandalf deck you didn't expect

This is a new iteration of my deck I've been tweaking and modyfing for the last few weeks, with various hero and sphere combinations.

Use Galdor of the Havens to fish for Gandalf, even if it means discarding your entire hand. If you still don't find him, try to play Protector of Lórien as soon as you can and dump the remaining cards to draw a new hand of 6. If you still are totally unlucky with your draw, Gather Information and Send for Aid are there to help you.

Denethor allows you to play Gandalf on turn one.

Master of the Forge will help you find all the toys Gandalf needs. Remember that you can use his ability (and Ioreth's for that matter) multiple times in a round if you decide to ready him e.g. with Narya or Ever Vigilant.

You have billion ways of readying Gandalf. He will be your heavy lifter here: he can quest, defend and attack really well, especially with all the Narya shenanigans (with Arwen Undómiel he can defend for 6). Flame of Anor is here as yet another readying tool (the + is not very reliable with so many cards with zero cost), but if you think that you don't need to ready Gandalf that many times, swap it for A Test of Will.

Merry, Elrond's Counsel and Double Back should be more than enough to keep your threat at reasonable levels.

Most of the cards are really cheap. Use Wealth of Gondor to accelarate your resources to play all the neutral cards even faster. It can also give you an emergency resource for Ever Vigilant.

Protector of Lórien will take care of duplicates of unique cards.

I've been also experimenting with Self Preservation instead of Ioreth (as you can search for it quicker with Master of the Forge), but it might be a bit too expensive to play.

Cool. I never realized Narya could go on ally Gandalf.

@GreenWizardyes, as an ally he can actually exhaust and ready himself using Narya (unlike the hero version) to get his stats boosted.
