Premise

A Hobbit deck utilizing Bilbo Baggins, not a hero I tend to play a lot but one that I do quite like here. There are quite a few tricks to enable him to do his work (like Pippin, or Hobbit Pony, the latter especially in combination with Elevenses) and some nice guarded "payoff" cards. This, coupled with the general wealth of resources and stats that Bond of Friendship provides, leads to quite the fun deck that holds its own better than one might expect!

How To Play

I like to see draw early on (like Peace, and Thought, Gather Information or Gandalf) since the deck is very cheap and otherwise runs out of cards very quickly.Apart from that, having Sting, Durin's Axe or The King's Return from the get-go enables a great target for Bilbo which might is quite fun!

Considerations

Warden of Healing and Secret Vigil are worth a shout if you play a quest that taxes you hard on threat/direct damage. Glamdring (and Orcrist for that matter) become very attractive if there are good targets across the table in multiplayer, as does Steward of Gondor. Thorongil would be perfectly fine here (most likely on Bilbo) but just misses out.

Enjoy!!!
