This was some fun I had to create a loosely thematic deck. Gandalf seems to have a fairly good relationship with the Eagles, and he, Merry, and Pippin are the ones who get the Ents going. The main idea of this deck to to pump out powerful eagle/ent allies as quickly as possible. It would be possible to add Support of the Eagles to Gandalf to make him even more powerful, but it isn't necessary, and would require you to put a Song of Battle on him first.
Interesting deck! I've been thinking of something along these lines, so I might have to give this a shot.
Small point: you wouldn't have to put Song of Battle on Gandalf to get Support of the Eagles if you played it from the top of your deck; whatever sphere the top card is grants Gandalf the printed sphere.
