Hirgon combat deck has been played with an Elrond deck which carried the bulk of questing and had much-needed healing and encounter deck control. This deck can handle itself pretty well, quests decently once set up, but quickly can handle combat for solo or multiplayer. There are plenty of sentinel options and ranged characters to protect and aid around the board. Hirgon's ability is fun to play, I know Tactics Theoden works really well with him, but I love the power Eomer can muster and when you tactically sacrifice someone to a boss and then he just slaughters it. Has potential for card draw but sometimes that can flop and you top deck unless your friend can help you out.

Hero attachments

Hirgon - The Red Arrow, often Steward

Erkenbrand - Ideally Ancestral Armor and Armored Destrier but if you desperate for aid before you can afford those two cards, Hauberk of Mail is a good sub. (You can also put Steward on him which should solve the expensive cards problem.

Eomer - His horse and his sword

Other powerful combos

Boromir with Raiment of War

Deorwine with Rainment or Ancestral

Warden of Helm's Deep with either Hauberk or Ancestral

Defender of Rammas with Raiment, Hauberk

Guthalf with Raiment

Would love to hear thoughts or ideas for improving, I hope if you try it you have fun!
