This deck is part of a set of 13 decks, for all details check out the project here: 13 Decks Were Given to the Race of Men
Rating:
- Preferred Player Count: 2 - 4
- Complexity: High
- Time Intensity: Medium
- Focus: Balanced
Synopsis:
This Outlands deck has 2 main aspects:
- Outland-swarming
- Gandalf
Outlands provide a huge boost if you can get them out quickly. To achieve this, you will need a lot of resources and cards. Both Gildor Inglorion and Denethor are in this deck to help you with these two challenges. If you succeed in these aspects, you will have a great game where an occasional wizard will guide you towards victory. If not, prepare for the struggle!
How it's played:
This deck looks for either draw or resources. So cards to mulligan for are:
- Steward of Gondor (or a way to fetch it)
- Lord of Morthond
- Gandalf (with a put into play event)
- Pillars of the Kings in case you get none of the above
Once you get the cards you need in hand, let the Outland swarm begin. Use Gandalf and Lord of Morthond (or Pillars of the Kings in need) for some extra draw and your army as quickly as possible.
Strengths: High potential on all stat lines, Sneaky Gandalf
Weaknesses: Early stats can be very unreliable.
