Typical Outlands Swarm deck. I built this deck using a rather unique restriction, not using cards that are in any of my other built decks!
Hirluin is the staple for this deck to pay for all the Outlands cards. Aragorn and Beravor are in here as nice glue heroes, as they have decent stats all around, plus threat reduction and card draw.
Not the most complex deck, but it sure is a lot of fun! Plus it forces me to use some Lore cards I might not typically throw in.

I only own 5 copies of Henamarth Riversong and they are tied up in other decks, hence his exclusion. Ranger Bow is probably worth cutting, but I figured I'd try it out since Beravor and Loragorn are also targets for it, although that's probably a waste of their action. I don't own the Hobbit boxes, but when I do, there's several cards I want to add. |
Jun 08, 2022As you have Aragorn II in your line up, I guess you could use Legacy of Númenor for resource acceleration. |

I like the pairing of Beravor and Hirluin; card draw is great for Outlands. I could even see adding Gléowine. Wingfoot + Beravor. is a nice combo.
Do you have enough resource acceleration? Why not include a 3rd copy of Steward of Gondor; seems like you'd want it in your opening hand. Perhaps add some additional resource-generating cards, too, since you'll be drawing plenty of cards. You could make room for them by cutting Ranger Bow (which only pairs with Ithilien Tracker, and which pulls in a different direction from the deck's main idea) and Needful to Know (you don't need threat reduction b/c of Loragorn, and for scrying Henamarth Riversong would be the better choice).
A Very Good Tale would be a powerful card to add, helping you to get Outlands allies in play faster.
