Amarthiul goes on defense with Ancestral Armor and armoured destrier. Halbarad quests, with Dunedain quests Aragorn gets Warrior sword, Rohan warhorse and Roheryn to take care of enemies. Sword that was broken, is still pretty broken and just ups the questing of every character under the players' control.
This deck has a few things to stop enemies from attacking and removing shadow cards to help with keeping enemies engaged with it but also stay alive and take the edge of particulary nasty enemies. Aragorn can also attack before defense with Roheryn if the need arises.
(An alternative, but probably straight worse build for Aragorn is letting him dual wield two Swords of Numenor for the occasional +2 resources. But he loses the Rohan warhorse and warrior Sword. My first set up had him using Warrior sword + Sword of Numenor for more attack, but attacking twice sounds a lot better. Especially since the warrior sword could boost him to +3 all by itself. And if he kills one enemy, he readies and then he can pull in another enemy which just helps the warrior sword boost him for the second attack. )
