This deck is designed to abuse the action of the Ring of Thror, that we attach to Dain. The cost curve as been thought to accomodate the contract challenge, with a majority of 0-cost and 2-cost cards, but also a decent number of 1-cost and 3-cost cards.
We want to defend with Dain every turn, and ready him knowing which card will be discarded thanks to Gandalf. With the wizard pipe in play, we can choose the card from our hand, and thus put it into play for free.
Dwarven Axes are for Thorin in priority, Dwarrowdelf Axes can be attached to Azain and Nori.
Dain can be equipped with an Armor or Erebor (to be a Sentinel) and a Dwarven Shield if we can choose, as well as unexpected courages and Thorongil. Extra Armors and Ring Mails can go on Erebor Guards for extra defense of the other players.
