Greetings! In preparation for Gencon, I plan on publishing a small number of decks for review by the community. I want to ensure that the decks I plan to bring do not break any taboos and are helpful in a multiplayer environment. I found the Gencon or Gencan't episode of Cardboard of the Rings to be most helpful in this regard, but I am taking this additional step just to make sure.

This first deck is all about defense. The one thing I know this deck needs is some card draw, but the obvious answer, Foe-hammer, is out. I have considered Valiant Sacrifice, but given the resilience of the allies in the deck, I do not believe this would be effective. The other thing that I would really like to add is Forest Snare to help with Amarthiúl abilities, but at a minimum I think I would need to cut five cards to cover three Forest Snare and two Song of Wisdom. Thoughts and critiques appreciated!

Why would you not run Foe-Hammer?

There are no weapons in the deck.

Raiment of War is in fact a weapon in the deck. Still I think Legolas might be more reliable for card draw in a combat-focused multi-player tactics deck.

I always forget that. Thanks for pointing that out. I am using the Hero Legolas in my ranged deck, otherwise I would have found space for him here. I am trying to ensure that each of the decks I bring could be used in a single four player game.
