Escape from Dol Guldur

Description

Escape from Dol Guldur was easy with these decks, on my first and only attempt.

The principles behind each of the decks are described in their respective pages.

I was helped by:

  • Denethor being the prisoner (he has the lowest threat level of all the heroes: he's not too powerful),
  • No major card guarding the objectives,
  • No Dungeon Jailor.

The four spheres nicely complement each other, with many effects that can conveniently apply to any player.

It would be interesting to play again and see how they fare.

Nice decks, and well done! People look (well, post) at me funny when I say Escape from Dol Guldur is only reasonably hard, so I’m glad to find someone who agrees!

Thanks. There is yet another (?) person who shared the same opinion in a well thought-out blog, and gives Escape from Dol Guldur a difficulty rating of 6 in 12: talesfromthecards.wordpress.com

Now, I can't judge the scenario yet, as I only played it once, two-handed. All I can say is that the decks above are not a bad start. ☺️
