tickler 248
tickler has a newer deck inspired by this one: Rohan toolbox
This is a thematic Rohan deck, that is really cool to play. Generally, you have most of the allies once in the deck. Once an ally has been played you use Gamling or Gúthwinë to re-use it if required. Depending on the quest you will reuse the Warden of Helm's Deep or Grimbold or sometimes even the Snowbourn Scout or The Riddermark's Finest to get rid of locations. It includes a lot of draw to ensure you can spend your 5 resources per turn.
The deck can be used solo or in multiplayer games.
Advantages
- Good defense
- Good offense
- Good questing
Weaknesses
- No healing
- No threat control (except for Double Back)
Some hints
- There are no strict rules which Hero gets which attachment. Depending on the situation and the order of cards most things can be played on any of the Heros. Sometimes you want Éowyn to wield the Golden Shield, but with a Hauberk of Mail and Captain of Gondor on the board, Théoden is the better target. Same for Herugrim, Gúthwinë, Snowmane, Windfola and Unexpected Courage.
- Heir of Mardil goes on Théoden. is the most required resource.
- If you do not like to play Double Back and Prepare for Battle, replace them by Secret Vigil. Also the new (announced) warrior sword here would allow to play Foe-hammer in this deck giving you even more draw.
Enjoy the riders of Rohan!
Looks great. Thanks for sharing. Can you please tell me where you get your 5th resource from? I can't figure out that part.
