This deck aims to utilise Dwarf heroes who usually get a bad reputation, or simply overlooked for more power play heroes. What this line up lacks in terms of raw power, pays dividends in reliability.
Right off the bat im going to state that it lacks questing. This deck won't be getting you far in heavy willpower scenarios. We have Longbeard Elder, but that's about it. However that said, it shines in a multiplayer setting.
What it brings to the table is a reliable hit soaker. We can really buy time for our friends to get going, even without the myriad of attachments. If there is a tough enemy early on, Gimli will be our defender triggering Dori, then Gimli himself to stand his pal back up. Nasty shadow? Balin has your back.
There is a few resource accelaration cards in here to ensure you can afford all of this of course. Necklace of Girion, We Are Not Idle, Dwarven Shield and The Day's Rising.
Sneak Attack and Gandalf is the go to answer to the board state as we dont have access to threat reduction and less card draw than .
Sneak Attack into a Beorning Skin-changer to then gain Beorn is always fun.
But what this deck presents is very playable and aims to prove that those cards you thought were not so good can still hold their own. It doesn't make the big plays like Dáin Ironfoot or Thorin Oakenshield but these Dwarves are still stout hearted friends!
