This is a questing-focused multiplayer dwarf deck that utilizes Zigil Miner, A Very Good Tale, and card draw for acceleration. This version of Zigil-Dwarves forgoes the usual combat splash of Erebor Battle Master and tactics cards for the utility of Long Lake Fisherman and Erebor Toymaker.

There are 15 dwarves that can be played turn 1 (three each of Erebor Hammersmith, Erebor Record Keeper, Ered Nimrais Prospector, Ered Luin Miner, and Miner of the Iron Hills ) due to Bifur's ability to steal a resource. Usually he'll take Dain's (or another player's), as there aren't a ton of Leadership sphere cards. Nori's ability to reduce threat just by playing dwarves really helps this deck with card slots (we pack no other threat reduction).

The allies are mostly 2-cost utility dwarves, with a few non-dwarf cards that help out. Miner of the Iron Hills is there just because he costs 2, his effect is seldom useful. Erebor Record Keeper is likewise mostly included because he's easy to play, but his effect does come in handy. Blue Mountain Trader is very useful in multiplayer, handing out chump blockers can save a player in a pinch. Erebor Hammersmith is an extremely cost-efficient ally, getting back a mined attachment to play later. His attributes are also amazing for his cost.

Ered Nimrais Prospector is one of the most important cards in the deck. Not only will he trigger Hidden Cache and Ered Luin Miner, he will allow you to reshuffle Will of the West from discard back into your deck. You'll want to keep tabs on how many Will of the Wests are left in your deck, and potentially hold onto a Ered Nimrais Prospector to reshuffle one when the deck is running out.

Zigil Miner is of course the most important card here. You're going to want to name 2, as 37/50 cards either cost 2 or interact with being discarded (Hidden Cache and Ered Luin Miner ). 37/50 cards means a 74% chance of a hit.

For the attachments, it's standard fare. King Under the Mountain is nuts, and along with Legacy of Durin will keep your hand packed. Armored Destrier and Armor of Erebor will turn Dáin Ironfoot into a blocking machine who still readies when needed. Magic Ring is there just to be another ready or heal in a pinch.

Warden of Healing is absolutely necessary to keep Dáin Ironfoot alive, and luckily costs 2 to work with Zigil Miner. Long Lake Fisherman is another wonderful utility 2 cost non-dwarf. Since the focus is on 2 cost cards, naming 2 will usually hit something good. The fishermen are also your chump blockers, as you'll want them in the discard when you finally pop a Will of the West to play next go around.

Erebor Toymaker has replaced Fili and Kili for me. This card is just ultra efficient. You'll often add 2 resources to a hero from Zigil Miner or Hidden Cache, making him very easy to play. He'll make any of your attachments free (meaning you don't have to store resources on Dain) and you can give his effect to another player if you go before them. The effect is incredibly easy to set up with Erebor Hammersmith. They also quest for 3 with a standing Dain.

Even though we're ignoring attack based dwarves, this deck isn't completely hopeless. With a standing Dain (either from Armored Destrier, Magic Ring, Erebor Record Keeper, or chump blocking with Long Lake Fisherman ) there's plenty of 2 attack dwarves to gang up on enemies.

Overall, it's a great questing deck for multiplayer. Long Lake Fisherman and Erebor Toymaker add a new group of tools to the existing archetype that I feel can replace the few combat cards it used to run.

Nice deck, have you considered perhaps using a Ring of Thrór as another way to ready Dáin Ironfoot (and also to cheat perhaps in play some attachments)?

@Alonewolf87yep, it's an awesome card. We mostly play nightmare so I kinda avoid the guarded attachments, but it could easily slide in for something else.

If playing in normal, I think almost every deck I use would pack a few Necklace of Girion and The Arkenstone.
