Out of all the heroes in the core set, my favorite has to be either Aragorn or Glorfindel. There's just something about their massive stats that makes using them feel just... heroic. I hadn't used Glorfindel much, until I saw a certain card from Celebrimbor's Secret: Heir of Mardil. This card has such great synergy with Glorfindel, that I knew I had to make a deck cored around the hero who has been so tragically underrated, so universally hated for his flaws; indeed Glorfindel is...
The Hero We Don't Deserve
The many aspects of Glorfindel
Willpower
This deck can quest for 6 right from the start, and with the help of Heir of Mardil on Glorfindel, and Wingfoot on Mablung, you can use Théodred to give Glorfindel the resource, name enemy with Wingfoot, and potential have everyone (except Theodred) ready by the end of the quest phase! I'm testing Faramir to see if he helps the deck with questing, though he is rather expensive.
Attack
Glorfindel's 3 is nice, but you also need him for his , so you need some way of readying him: as mentioned before, Heir of Mardil synergizes fantastically with Theodred, allowing Glorfindel to ready every round. You can also wait until after committing him to the quest to exhaust Steward of Gondor to ready Glorfindel. When paired with Booming Ent or Treebeard, Glorfindel makes short work of enemies.
Hit Points
This deck has tons of hit points, allowing it to survive massive amounts of archery or other direct damage. I'm still trying to find the optimal amount of copies of Daughter of the Nimrodel and Lembas to include, as Glorfindel's built-in healing means I don't have to include as many other healing cards as my other decks.
Burning Resources
This deck goes a bit overboard on resource acceleration, so you'll be swimming in resources really fast. After a handful of turns with Steward, Glorfindel can perform a deep search with Gandalf's Search to find whatever you need at the time. Theodred's excess money is spent on Keen-eyed Took, who allows you to perform selective card draw by trashing your duplicate uniques. Mablung spends his extra money on Winged Guardian, who synergizes fantastically with Mablung's ability.
Final Thoughts
This deck is still a work in progress, as are most of my decks, so the sideboard mostly consists of cards I'm still trying out. As much as I'd love this deck to work, it does take quite a bit of time for it to get rolling, so I'd rate it as one of my weaker decks. Glorfindel would probably work better in my Ubersynergism pairup of Glorfindel-Theodred-Erkenbrand, but I wanted to see how he would work in an ent deck. Any feedback is appreciated (before you ask, I don't have Asfaloth)

i understand Glorfindel. I can even understand Gandalf's Search. but using Keen Eyed Took in 2019 just screams troll ;d
