I find there is often a point in the game where I need a final push of energy. Using Pillar of the Kings to go from like 28 to 40, turning on my Veteran of Osgiliath, Soldier of Gondor, and Angbor the Fearless (eventually), as well as drawing four cards has been a fun thematic way to get that push.
