"Enough! If I say that Silvans are burglars, then burglars they are! Elves are remarkably light on their feet. In fact, they can pass unseen by most, if they choose. And while the dragon is familiar with the scent of a dwarf"...ok that's where it breaks down.
Burglar contract: When playing silvans, the main attachments that I hope to see are Light of Valinor, O Lorien, Evlenking, and Cloak of Lorein. None of those are required to play a good game with Sivans...especially if you have other ways of generating resources. If you are playing with a freindly leadership player who is willing to add an Elvenking to his/her deck, that could be excellent.
This deck takes advantages of the extra deck space created by the loot deck to add some very useful cards.
Resources: Replacing O Lorein is pretty easy with Captain's Wisom, Elf Guide, and A Very Good Tale. Resources should not be an issue.
Card draw: Use the Minstrels to find events. The deck will be run through fairly quickly with Daeron's Runes, Sneak Attack/Gandalf, A Very Good Tale.
Starting hand: Keep almost any hand with a Minstrel. She is the key to getting the deck ramped up quickly.
The allies: The allies in the deck are fairly toolboxy. Use them as needed. Early game, the Minstrel should be played as often as possible to dig through the deck (and thin it of events...setting up some excellent A Very Good Tales). The deck has a high amount of ranged attack and is able to heal and control threat/locations if that becomes the priority by bouncing either the Courier, Handmaines, or Minstrels back into hand and into play.
Entering play: All of the allies except Legolas have an "enters play" effect. There are many ways to get those effects. Host of Galadhrim, Sneak Attack, A Very Good Tale, The Tree People, or simply playing an ally trigger those effects. A Very Good Tale combos very nicely with any of the events that return an ally to hand. Exhaust the character to bring in more allies, return them to hand to gain a benefit, and play them again for even more benefit.
The loot: The loot deck is fairly standard. Weapons go on Haldir. Willpower boosts are for Celeborn and defense boosts are for Thranduil. In a multiplayer game, the loot is often shared with other decks who may benefit from having an extra attachment.
How you use the spirit attachments?
