The game text on a card is only ever active if the card is in play, unless the text specifies otherwise - for example the Elven Jeweler. Any card that is in the discard pile, your hand, victory display etc. isn't in play and so the text isn't active. |
YO! I have a question... but might know the answer since almost no one use the combo Beorn / Landroval...
I'll ask it anyway, if Beorn dies, can Landroval return it in play or the "immune to player card effect" still applies even if he's in the discard pile?
