Fastred and Éomer were meant to work together; Fastred to pop an enemy back in staging while lowering your threat, and Eomer to run the enemy down in staging while questing.
Of course, Eomer needs more than 3 attack to kill enemies realiably in staging, and Dúnedain Mark plus Firefoot (in the partner deck) help with that. But the real silver bullet is the combination of Nenya and Herugrim. With Galadriel's help, not only can Eomer quest for a healthy five, he can also attack for at least 8 -- 10 with Firefoot, with the overkill spilling over to some hapless still-engaged enemies.
Nenya is the key card for this deck to go for, since it partners with a Thurindir deck almost certainly playing Gather Information on turn one. Herugrim without Nenya is a very expensive Axe, while Nenya without Herugrim can help you finish off Gather Information and fetch a copy of Herugrim.
This deck has more side-quests than the partner deck, since Mirror of Galadriel can help fetch them (and toss them, if you don't have Silver Harp). Rider of Rohan and Thalion both benefit from side-quests.
If you have both Marks, Herugrim, Nenya, Firefoot, and Rally the West completed, Eomer can attack the staging area for 14. Set that up! It's fun!
i would consider to play that deck as 3 hunters. yes no allies, about the restricted attachements become cheaper and herugrim is more playable even in the 1. round, you can get the kombo narya + herugrim 1. round.
if u put eomer in the other deck, he can get the one ring and with it (and the tactic-attachment for attack) reach attack 7 in round 1.
