After trying to make a The Burglar's Turn deck with Idraen working and realizing I have a pile of really powerful weapons on somewhat mediocre attackers, I decided to strap them onto our go to combat hero, Haldir of Lórien. I really like how this deck plays. The Burglar's Turn balances out the number of attachments you get, preventing weapons flood.
Haldan ensures you are drawing 2 cards a turn, as each location is guaranteed to have a guarded attachment. Strider's Path lets you fast travel to a location if you every miss a chance and can sometimes allow for multiple attachments on a single location. Most of the allies are solid 2's for 2, making sure you can always clear the location each turn. Galadhrim Minstrel will basically always hit, as we don't have any of our attachments in our actual deck.
As for the Burglar Board, most of the attachments are weapons, minus some of the best +2 attachments for Haldan. (Dark Knowledge is Stone of Elostirion)
I have been testing out the engagement cost increase cards as they synergize well with Haldir of Lórien, but without any threat reduction, they can go dead faster than I would like. I have liked Unseen Strike, but haven't been impressed with Take No Notice.
I originally had Deep Knowledge, but ended most games with 12 cards in hand, so I switched it out for A Good Harvest to smooth out the resources and sometimes trigger Robin Smallburrow.
