A thematic-ish elven deck made to tackle The Redhorn Gate (double-handed solo). This quest is about escorting Arwen across the mountains back to Rivendell (possibly her journey back from Lorien in approx. the game's time period?)

Given the number of Snow/Mountain locations, I thought I'd try Rossiel - get a location in the Victory Display with Leave No Trace (or Scout Ahead if that comes out first) and she can quest for 4 most turns. The enemy pool is more diverse, and at any rate the other deck was intended to take most of the combat, so I didn't bother with None Return.

Glorfindel also quests strongly, and either hero can be buffed by Protector of Lórien or Elrond's Counsel. Allies are generally there to help questing. Because of Stage 3B's effect of discarding characters with 0, I had to throw in the expensive unique allies - generally you wouldn't expect to get more than one into play each game really. This is also the reason for Star Brooch - this negates the multitude of encounter effects which try and lower your willpower, and could be played on Dunedain cards from the other deck as well.

Elrond is there to get rid of those nasty Freezing Colds, or you can use him for his other effects if you are lucky enough to dodge them. Northern Tracker, Steed of Imladris and West Road Traveller help out a little with locations if you feel you are getting stuck in the snow, as do events Secret Paths and Strider's Path.

There are a couple of nasty shadows in this quest, so Hasty Stroke is included. But I left A Test of Will out since I was playing Eleanor.
