Here is my take on an “evil” deck using mostly villains of Middle-Earth and a couple captured healing allies.
Mulligan for Peace and Thought/Tighten Our Belts and take a relaxed first round before playing both with Grima reducing the cost, and if you get lucky you hopefully draw more peace and thought cards or Word of Command to help summon more, with Saruman readying from doomed cards and Kahliel being able to ready an extra time you can pull off some crazy draw and be set up for the rest of the game.
If you find you have most of your Harad allies in the discard pile, use Will of The West to start the chain over again. Saruman’s Staff helps with threat but the most important trick is using Fall of Gil-Galad on Saruman and intentionally sacrificing him to drop your threat by 13. Houses of Healing + 2 healers and Grima mean you can get Saruman back the next round for a mere 2 Lore resources.
The name comes from the Game Boy Advance The Third Age game where in the evil campaign I chose Saruman and Grima as my heroes most times, Kahliel and his kin represents the Harad allies you use in many of the missions.

Aug 26, 2023When The Fall of Gil-Galad triggers, Saruman has left play, so his effects no longer apply. It's like using Fortune or Fate on Beorn. |

Doesn't Saruman effect counter The Fall of Gil-Galad?
