This deck should give you plenty of ways of generating resources for all of the three spheres. There are a lot of 1x allies so it may lack consistency, but what you get in return is fewer "dead hands" and a huge variety of useful abilities. Tweak it to your liking (if you feel it's too slow due to too many "enters play exausted" effects, then swap a few ent allies for non-ent ones), but so far it's been fun to play ;).
I didn't include any cheap allies so that Arwen Undómiel can save resources in order to play Glorfindel / Northern Tracker / some neutral ally or "spam" Elven-light for a massive card draw. If you think that you could use her resources elswhere, feel free to include e.g. Stand and Fight to play allies from other spheres from your discard pile or to swap e.g. Mirkwood Explorer and Ghân-buri-Ghân for some alternatives. Like I said - tweak this deck to your taste ;).

2) I don't know if I like how contracts have changed the fundamentals of deckbuilding in this game and how they impacted the way people make decks these days. It's all about contracts now and I prefer how the game worked previously. 3) I didn't find I need more card draw in this deck to be honest, you have Deep Knowledge, Elven-light or even Gandalf and Galdor of the Havens. Once you get Elven-light thing going on, you'll be fine. |
i would consider, to play it as council of the wise.
with an average of 6 recources you definetly needs more carddraw. council will give that, and also you are more flexible with thread and perhaps more ressources or just play the events for no costs.
relating to the allies it should not be this much of an impact to take all of them only once. that gives you 6 more cards for events, what makes a good number for the contract (21). t
leaves you to decide what for additional 6 cards you will take for the attachements that are more than 1. would take weapons and armor and one lembas.
