There are a few proxy cards:
Dwarf Pipe = Spare Pipe (The Land of Sorrow)
Prince of Dol Amroth = Thorongil (The Fortress of Nurn)
Sword that was Broken = Red Book of Westmarch (The Land of Sorrow)
Defiant Challenge = Smoke and Think (The Land of Sorrow)
(I made sure each proxy card was the same color, type, uniqueness, and cost, so all the deck stats and requirements were correct)
The deck doesn’t start with all four main hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry), but it hopes to finish with them.
Use Frodo Baggins and Merry to quest, Folco Boffin to attack, Tom Cotton to defend.
Frodo and Merry have pretty good synergy. Quest with both of them and then have Frodo ready Merry so Merry can use his ability to reduce threat if an enemy is revealed.
Trade Tom Cotton for Sam Gamgee
Thorongil:
That will give Merry +4 (+5 if Pippin is hero) attack to his already 1 attack. That will make him a formidable attacker.
Smoke and Think and having four pipes will help to bring in the needed cards.
