I beat Fortress of Nurn in solo with this deck on the second try, but it wasn't easy ;)
The quest is well designed for a quest that requires to build specifically against it.
With this deck I still need luck to get enough threat reduction to be able to beat the quest. And I need it too to avoid the worst Power of Mordor cards.
Steward is supposed to go on Arwen to play Elven-light when you managed to have cards in your deck.
I found that Stand and Fight the skin-changers to recur Beorn or Bears was very effective to deal with enemies.
I'd be happy if you have ideas to improve the list!

Oct 05, 2020Thanks |
Oct 05, 2020then i see only 2 more ways for more thread reduction: elevenses, there are some hobbitallys, or dwarventomp to re-use greeting or elronds council. o.k. there is a 3. hammersmith, to get a favor of the valar back. |
Oct 05, 2020Thanks good ideas, but I think bringing recursion would not be very consistent gainst Nurn because you are not sure to get some cards from your deck. In my games there were are at least 16 cards from my deck that I couldn't see. So the quest is very dependant on luck. |
try keen as lances. expensive, but neutral, and can be used for other purposes than threadreduction, if needed. would reduce 1 treebeard and 1 of the neutral sidequests for it
