Gandalf functions as the 4th hero so it is of utmost importance to be in your starting hand. During the second round he must enter play and then try to keep your threat at low levels in order to have him as long as you can (ideally throughout the entire game). Resourceful is also a nice card to have in hand at the beginning and of course the all-time classic Light of Valinor for our man Glorfi. If Glorfindel is not available due to his popularity use a different low-threat hero, preferably a hobbit. This deck is untested but I believe it to be great especially in solo and co-op games where the other players do not rely on Gandalf. Have a good time with it!
