The idea of the deck is to use all the cost reductions (Hirgon's, Theoden's and the contract's) to put in play as many allies as possible. Gamling and Horn of the a priority to start making the greatest use of Thengel's ability fueled by the Rohan trait self-discard cards. Single Core-Set friendly.

Apr 14, 2021Since I can only save 1 ally per round with Gamling I wanted to avoid using The Muster of Rohan. I can better use that 4 resource by putting in play a couple of permanent allies. Herugrim would end up on Théoden so it's only 2 cost, which seems more fair. Astonishing Speed might be a good inclusion, but I would keep the Raiment of War and at least 2 Oath of Eorl (I really like that card and the idea is to spend very few resource from Hirgon's pool by discounting mainly the Tactics allies). |
top, wanted to make a similar deck soon.
would not use herugrim, for 3 spiritres you get allies for about 6 res, thats better.
would include The Muster of Rohan, it can be a gamechanger in critical round, and 1 of the leaving you can use for thengel another for Worthy of Remembrance
would further include 1-2 Astonishing Speed
would discard for that
