I've wanted to create a mount deck for a while, and here is my first attempt. The strategy is pretty straight-forward.
Suggestions?
steed of the north? none o your heroes can have it. or is it part o a fellowship?
i have made a horsedeck in this fellowship (and worked well) :ringsdb.com
i think, make it 3 hunters is quite risky,or add 3 Feint. this way there is no good defender from the start. card draw is minimal, so it is unlikely to get Armored Destrier + shield out.
another benefit from not 3-hunters is, that you can include Westfold Horse-breeder for finding horses and Envoy of Pelargir helping ressoursse-handeling.
i think a horsedeck can only be very good in a fellowship.
if you want to play solo, consider Thorongil for eomer
