I built this deck specifically to take on Foundations of Stone, but I think it would be a decent all-around solo deck. It's the first time I've used Boromir or Eleanor and let me tell you what, they both came in clutch. Until FoS, I never thought I needed Eleanor. Sure, people on the forums and the Grey Company guys kept admonishing me about how great Eleanor was. But her stats are so meagre, I thought. Her real strength lies in her personal ability though. Especially against quests like FoS with a lot of really crushing treacheries (hope you don't mind discarding a hero...). Boromir is also an excellent attacker and defender. Anyway, Rivendell Bow can probably be a side board card and substituted for something else on most quests. I only had it since there are some pesky bats in FoS. The theme of the deck really only came through as an afterthought, but I really like it. Without trying I ended up with only Rivendell, Rohan, and Gondor allies. It's fun to think of those 3 pillars of Middle Earth culture teaming up to take on the growing threats of their time. An alliance had indeed been forged again between Elves and Men!
