Galadhrim Weaver is the only ally which does not bring you up to 9 traits, but that ally is there to get The Free Peoples back into your deck anyways.

Sideboard

Initially, I had Runes in the deck, but with 4 heroes, peace and thought just fits better. Feint/Revealed in Wrath could be nice as additional defending utilities - if you think that your defender builds up to slow. Warrior of Lossarnach is the "missing" Outland, but other cards in the deck seem more important to me.

This is creative! Does the deck actually play well?

Well, you do have a defender (Amarthiúl), a quester (Éowyn) and an attacker (Haldir of Lórien), which can also quest instead, right from the start. 3 Shield, 4 (or 6 willpower) and an optional 3 attack. This isn't supreme, but not bad also.

Your threat starts at 34. Taking the second quest into account, the Hill Troll instantly engage you and destroys Amarthiúl. Other quests will not be a problem, because of Galadriel will keep your threat at bay. In other words: if you do not draw a Defender of Rammas, a chuck blocker, or an attachment wich is meant for your main defender, the threat is not low enough...

Every attachment has a clearly goal: defending attachments on Amarthuil, Weapons on Haldir, and so on. This way the heroes get strengthened. But to be honest (and a bit to my disappointment) this decks plays more like an ally-focused deck - which might not be bad at all, there ist still that The Free Peoples. :)

Except Gandalf and Treebeard (which both are neutral by the way) all allies are cheap and can be played almost instantly. In my playtests I drew The Free Peoples late. By then, I had more than just one ally out. At dedicated points of the game it helps questing/combat very well - e.g. finishing a boss enemy and questing hard in the very same round.

As every character get readied from The Free Peoples, this card (and therefore his deck) shines in multi player.

dl;dr this deck is straight forward to play, has its potential, but clearly it isn't a top tier deck.

like it because:

  • no steward
  • free people not often used card
  • filled all roles from the start and can stay in this thread thx to galadriel

would make some minor adjustments:

replace both Defender of Rammas (what they survive Amarthiúl can defend)

  • put in at least 1 Quick Strike its so good with Éowyn played it right in the combatphase she can take out 1 enemy before he attacks with her +9 and a 2. at standartattack same phase (also +9) in 1 round
  • if only 1 Quick Strike put in a #feint, or Meneldor or Pippin

would perhaps (depends on testing) replace 1 Unexpected Courage with Miruvor. it is usuable from the start, and recycle-able and can be given to several heroes (e.g. 1 round to eowyn, with Quick Strike she can attack 3 times with str+9 (sunk a whole ship alone ;) ) then put back on your deck and give it next round to a different hero )

consider replace 1 Envoy of Pelargir with Open the Armory

@doomguard your adjustments are very good thoughts.
