if playing a grey wanderer with Beregond i would make it a whole-table-defender. to squize out a solodeck seems not worth it to me.
if whole tabledefense is the goal, perhaps my old deck could give some inspiration: ringsdb.com
IF you want to make a complete fightingdeck out of it, the eagles is a good option, but you definetly need 3 Resourceful, then you can pay for the expensive cards.
i would not thorongil him. the important cards Unexpected Courage and Miruvor can be played as 1. card by default (all other spiritcards u have are not necessary for the fighting theme.
IF you Thorongil him add A Test of Will and Hasty Stroke (in my version i did it and add 3 songs of travel (see comments) to make sure to get spirit.
following my advice, then you can fill up the deck with more eaglecards for the discarded spiritcards.
