I've been playing with a house rule I call "Favourite Things" where each hero can start with a preselected in-sphere attachment as part of the starting hand. The remaining 3 cards in the starting hand is random, and no mulligan is allowed. This reduces luck of the draw in setup and has flow-on effects for deckbuilding. If you wanted to try this deck I'd generally recommend adjusting the deck to be 3-of the Favourite Things cards and adjusting card counts around that. In this deck the Favourite Things are: Denethor - A Burning Brand Eomer - Horn of Gondor Lothiriel - Horn of the Mark

I just find the hero lineup for this deck hilarious. Eomer and Lothiriel are astride handsome steeds, looking glorious, both bringing a Horn*, and accompanied on their honeymoon with Denethor - seedy, stern, creepy grin in place For gameplay both Horns go on Lothiriel. If a Song of Travel gets i to your hand it goes on Denethor to help with resource smoothing. Gamling is a high priority to get into play. Without him you tend to run out of cards in hand if Gleowine hasn't shown up.

*draw your own conclusions there.

Just a small note, Horn of Gondor has been errata-ed to trigger only when a character is destroyed, so it doesn't trigger when a character leaves play by being shuffled back in the deck or being taken back into your hand. I would consider Firefoot as chosen attachment for Éomer perhaps.

Thanks Alonewolf, I was aware of that. I just like the symmetry of the two horns (Gondor and Rohan) for the couple, and any extra resources in Spirit is gold for this deck. Firefoot would be the ideal Favourite for Eomer, but I've found it pretty easy to fetch quickly with Westfold Horse Breeder. It's like having 6 copies in the deck.
