This is the ALeP version of my Grimbeorn the Old/Éowyn/Hour of Wrath deck (https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/28941/teachinganoldgrimbeornnewtricks-1.0). The difference is this uses Glorfindel which helps immensely with questing and combat.
Some other fun inclusions are Onward Into Battle, Relic of Nargothrond, and Legacy of Gondolin. The Onward into Battle's help get readying from our heroes without having to access . So then, why include cards? Well, Thorongil helps get Éowyn out, which helps insuring you get extra , access to more readying in Unexpected Courage, and ensuring you have a way to discard for Legacy of Gondolin.
Again, I have found it surprisingly easy to flip the contract. Even if you don't somehow flip within three turns you're threat will still be quite low and combat ability quite high. The inclusion of the Noldor items helps immensely with this. Elven Spear helps discard for Legacy of Gondolin too. If you're feeling saucy you can add an Elf-friend to spread the Noldor item love. I found I didn't need to as discarding was already easy. You could add Glorfindel. I find that it slows things down and creates the need for more deck space with Light of Valinor. This is why I like Onward into Battle so much. Between this and my other similar deck this is much more fun to play!
