This is the deck I used for my single core series against The Withered Heath

Grimbeorn the Old is here! Need an answer to defense? He can do that. Need an answer to attacking? He can do that too. Because he can help you so much in combat he works really well with those not-so-hasty Ents. Use Grimbeorn to handle combat as your Ents get moving. Once your Ent army is marching you will find this deck is very powerful.
For this quest the big trick/combo you want to do is get a bat engaged with you and don't kill it. Then, defend the bat with Grimbeorn, use Armored Destrier to ready him and discard the shadow from the dragon to remove that hazard from this quest.
The other two heroes I picked for this specific quest, but any heroes would work that can quest. Galdor of the Havens is great for this cycle because there is a treachery that forces you to discard your hand. Thurindir is also amazing because a lot of quests progress to the next stage by a mechanic other than placing progress, so Side-Quests are ideal.
Good luck and happy questing!
Nice combo of Grimbeorn the Old and Ents! Are 3x Foe-hammer worth it for only 3 weapons? I think more is necessary to clear the side quests. Perhaps Pippin and Robin Smallburrow? Then, I would add 1x The Dam Bursts for fun. If you add more willpower, consider Keep Watch and Thalion.
