All the decks I make are intended for multi-player games, since I enjoy the social aspect of playing with others. This means that the decks tend to be specialised and rely on combining with other decks that specialise in other aspects of play. Please bear this in mind when reviewing and commenting on the deck.

This is a hobbit deck concentrating primarily on questing but with readying effects that allow you to defend enemy attacks. The deck operates best if it can engage an enemy each turn, allowing you to ready Sam Gamgee and draw a card with Pippin. Sam is your main defender/attacker so it is best to concentrate your attachments on him in the early-game. For especially difficult enemies you can use Barliman Butterbur to absorb the damage while you build up your strength.

In the early game you should try to get Steward of Gondor and Red Book of Westmarch into play as early as you can to allow you to build up resources rapidly. Concentrate on getting to the point where you can defend attacks safely so that you can engage enemies. In the long-game you can use Gaffer Gamgee repeatedly to prevent enemies from attacking. Care is required in playing thi sdeck to ensure you don't lose a hero in the early to mid-game, but once you are set up with good resource income and Gaffer Gamgee you will be quite resilient.
