Faramir and a group of his Ithilien rangers join forces with the haradrim finest in this secrecy deck. Special guest: Ioreth.
Notes:
- Mulligan for any haradrim, Firyal is probably the best ally to see at first.
- Steward of Gondor is always a great card to begin with, but I believe that having a big ally available is a better starting point for this deck.
- Song of Wisdom targets:
- Faramir and Ioreth. This is the only way to play them.
- Firyal. She (as well as Jubayr and Yazan) can be also played via Kahliel's ability.
- Other cards (and the Wild Stallion) can be also played via The Grey Wanderer.
- If secrecy has been lost, Vanish from Sight allows to play:
- Risk Some Light for free.
- Ithilien Lookout and Out of the Wild for 1 cost.
- Jubayr is the best target for the Wild Stallion.

Dec 06, 2022Coney in a Trap is terrible here. It requires three cards before you can use it. Timely Aid would be perfect here. So would Resourceful and Captain's Wisdom. |
Dec 06, 2022I would suggest a copy or two of Kahliel's Tribesman, just for some added flexibility. It combo's well with The Grey Wanderer's built in readying. So you can defend with Kahliel, ready him, and attack, all with the boosted stats. |

Thanks for your comments! :) Neither Southron Refugee nor Kahliel's Tribesman are in my collection :( In the other hand, Timely Aid and Resourceful are both in my Hobbit deck :D Since this deck has a slow start, I don't mind too much to wait for having everything setup in order to have access to the Coney in a Trap. I will consider to include Captain's Wisdom anyway. |
