the 2 dwarfes allied by the elvenhero seeks to find some old relics while mining a little bit.
the base idea i had i want to make a deck with (MotK) Nori and then thorongil him to Nori. mining benefits from (MotK) Noris ability. so 2 spiritheroes to et Zigil Miner + Imladris Stargazer running.
got my Alep-copies this days. want to use the imo very cool Lay of the Nauglamír, so the heroes have to be noldor or dwarfs, to get the devotet online. (with a bit luck set you up with zigil+stargazer and put some cards u want in the discard) and the best of it,it is all very themeful and the spirit of the 1. age sniffs around.
the allies mostly costs 2 because Lay of the Nauglamír and Wandering Spirit
mulligan or Lay of the Nauglamír i you got a Imladris Stargazer consider to keep it.
some advice to a few cards:
- with a bit luck, you hit Hidden Cache and Ered Luin Miner while mining.
- the Elven Spear can be used to get cards you want in the discard there (Wandering Spirit+possible Master of the Forge, Relic of Nargothrond
- if you have 5 dwarfs Óin can also pay or Veteran Axehand
- Keen as Lances is mainly for carddraw, consider to replace with Gandalf
- with the mighty Glorfindel thorongil might be better used or Glorfindel we re allready deeep in alep-territory, no way back ;)
strat is simple, mine as much as possible, reset with Will of the West and use Dwarf Pipe and (MotK) Nori to its best, decide who get his true nature
the deck can play with everyone, even a Gandalf-deck. best is perhaps a Dáin Ironfoot-deck as partner to make the most out o the dwarfs.

Dec 23, 2022i thought about it, but it would reduce the density of 0-2 cost allies. or what cards would you discard for it? i think ressourses are not the problem, asuming you have zigil+starazer in round 2. Elven-light would be very nice, but what to cut? depends on testing perhaps Ered Luin Miner would be a nice replacement, but they are the cheapest chumps if they are mined. |

Cool to see a deck built around Lay of the Nauglamír! Did you consider Resourceful at all? You start in secrecy and with 3x Elrond's Counsel there's a good chance you'll stay there long enough to get one in play. Could fuel some Elven-light, which is still nicely in theme.
