"If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again..." Mulligan for Steward of Gondor and attach it to Boromir. resources will be very scarce, so only play allies using Hirgon's ability, and supplement his pool with Envoy of Pelargir and Horn of Gondor. Equip Denethor with a Gondorian Shield and a Citadel Plate for him to withstand Thaurdir's attacks, but be mindful of Orc Marauder's shadow ability. Ensnare at least one 3 enemy to turn your Emyn Arnen Ranger into questing powerhouses and to control the number of shadow cards on the table as to ensure you enter the second stage with at least 40 and thus can make the best of your allies' valour abilities. Once you get to the second stage, Boromir, Faramir, Visionary Leadership and your valour abilities should allow you to quest through it and beat Thaurdir in no more than two turns.
