"If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again..." Mulligan for O Lórien! and/or Bow of the Galadhrim. Prioritise attaching two Bow of the Galadhrim to Haldir of Lórien ASAP, so he can one-shot most enemies without engaging them. This deck has no defenders, so try to kill all enemies in the staging area using Haldir of Lórien's ability and Hands Upon the Bow. Combo Henamarth Riversong and Wingfoot to quest and attack in the same turn with Haldir of Lórien. Managing your Feigned Voices, Feint and Hands Upon the Bow is very important because you must kill all regular enemies before advancing to the second stage, but you also need to have a sizeable army on the table to quest through the second stage and kill Thaurdir fast. Should you want an even bigger challenge, try questing through the second stage in the first turn after advancing to it and then killing Thaurdir in the next planning phase by playing Rúmil while having a table full of ranged characters.

Mar 31, 2023In solo mode the only way the Ranged keyword won’t be fully effective is in the sense that you won’t be able to use it to commit your characters to attacking enemies engaged with other players, since there are no other players. The keyword is still considered to be effective for all other purposes. Keywords can only be disregarded by game effects that specifically allow/force them to be disregarded. |
Apr 01, 2023specially Bow of the Galadhrim Hands Upon the Bow and if he ever can be played from hand: Rúmil |
This deck is titled for solo play, but isn't the Ranged keyword ability only applicable in multiplayer games? I'm sorry if this is a silly thing to ask. I started playing a week ago and I'm still learning the limitations and timing of effects.
