A refined version of my old Museum of Contemporary Ents deck. The idea is to combine the hasty-Ent archetype using Faramir with the classic Gloin engine to generate extra resources. Here I've added Steward of Gondor for Elrond to dial it up to 11. When all is running smoothly, you can play 2-3 Ents a turn.
Opening hand you're looking for Steward of Gondor, but Warden of Healing, Ent Draught for Uncle Moneybags, Song of Wisdom, or Narvi's Belt are nice to see. Deep Knowledge and Heed the Dream can help search -- make sure to use Entmoot first, though, if you've got it.
Notes:
- Gloin gets Narvi's Belt, Song of Wisdom, Ent Draught, and Self Preservation.
- Elrond gets Steward of Gondor, Lembas.
- Hauberk of Mail and other Ent Draughts go on Derndingle Warrior.
- Use Ever Vigilant to get a hastier Ent or on a hard-cast Gandalf.
- Envoy of Pelargir can add resources to Elrond or Glóin, and is here in case you need to sacrifice an ally to any effect.
Other options:
- King Under the Mountain and Daeron's Runes could help shuffle through the deck faster, though there's not a whole lot here that I want to discard so I cut them. But definitely decent adds if they suit your play style.
- Galadriel could be an interesting option, playable by base Gloin, for a short boost and to fish out more attachments.
- Magic Ring is always good, probably for Elrond. Might replace one Lembas.
- If you want, add The One Ring and Well Preserved to make uber-Gloin. In that case, I might add some Woodmen's Clearings or Favor of the Valar.
Now I want to see some art of a Derndingle Warrior wearing a Hauberk of Mail. Deck looks super strong.
