Cross1205 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Bagginses with a guide

I wanted to try a deck with Frodo Baggins defending and A LOT of threat management to counteract his effect.

I think the biggest struggle with this deck will be attacking. This deck will be great with questing! I think it will pair well with a heavy attacking deck.

would include Smoke Rings Spare Pipe and Smoke and Think

i you use Pippin or Folco Boffin instead o Bilbo Baggins ou would start in secrecy.

and i you would start with (MotK) Bilbo Baggins you would stat with a pipe in startinghand.

Thnx for the advice @doomguard. I unfortunately do not have 'spare pipe' and 'smoke and think'. Bilbo is my main card draw mechanic. But I guess engaging with Pippin could replace his card draw?

i can imagine, and, if you end saying you need more cards, you can include some Peace, and Thought. its very good with hobbits that have Fast Hitch

as i look at your deck i have another proposal, because you are going for putlandbonus and have lore i would include the Anfalas Herdsman i think you can skip the Curious Brandybuck and Mithril Shirt guarded cards are so unpredictable and when you can attach them its late and winmore. with 1-2 Anfalas Herdsman out you are save against archery.

consider also a Boots from Erebor or Frodo Baggins (if u ever get the Spare Pipe thata +2 hp beside the other positive effect, perhaps worth proxying)

Maybe I should ditch Drinking Song for the Peace, and Thought. Maybe swap out Unexpected Courage for those boots.
