The temptation for a single-sphere Outlands deck is to use Prince Imrahil and give him a Prince of Dol Amroth, but the truth is if you're doing Outlands anyway it's crazy overkill. (Outlands all by itself is usually overkill, or anyway just enough kill.) And of course has a card draw problem.
Enter Gildor Inglorion.
And with (MotK) Forlong, the threat starts off at a nice, low 23.
A good opening hand has either Lord of Morthond or Steward of Gondor in it (a great one has both). Use A Very Good Tale even though it will whiff occasionally: the point is to get out Outlands & burn through your deck to do it. Although I will admit playing a Strength of Arms in a pinch is a lot of fun.
So yeah: dump Outlands allies as fast as you can.
Sword of Morthond is utterly unnecessary. hence it's in the sideboard, but it can be fun to make an Errand-rider into a questing or killing machine.
I would personally consider using Denethor instead of (MotK) Forlong. The 2 starting extra resources more than compensate the 2 extra threat (and you have a decent defender from the start)
