This deck is meant to be played as a fellowship with the Assault on Osgiliath Leadership deck. Éowyn is relegated to questing duty in this deck. Prioritize the playing of high defense characters.
The main reason Landroval is in this deck is to recover a defeated hero. It's a very expensive card, but if archery starts to take a toll on your heroes, this card can be a life saver.
Thicket of Spears can be a life saver if one of the decks is overwhelmed with enemies. Getting attachments on the attackers of both decks is key to managing enemies. Spear of the Citadel is nice to have on Beregond but it isn't a necessity.
There's probably some tweaks to be made as Beorn is really difficult to get into play and card draw is really tough. Putting another copy of Foe-hammer in the deck is probably a good idea. Because Thicket of Spears of spears is so useful, another copy of that could really help and Behind Strong Walls is always useful on Beregond, especially because he is a sentinel.
