The Last Alliance is a ton of fun to play, and it opens up a lot of fun tricks for this deck to build and maintain a pretty big board state. I've had as many as seven enemies engaged with me and never felt like I was about to get destroyed during the combat phase.

Amarthiúl gives you resource acceleration and access to tactics, assuming you keep a couple of enemies in front of you all game. Halbarad helps you keep Amarthiul's abilities active and can help manage an unwanted enemy engagement in multiplayer. Arwen Undómiel is one of the best heroes in the game. She has built in resource acceleration, three willpower, and fills the Noldor slot for The Last Alliance Contract.

A good opening hand will have To the Sea, to the Sea!, Elven-light, Estel, or Heir of Valandil. Estel and/or Elven-light are probably the more important of the four. Putting Estel on Amarthiul means you can ditch a card and take your pick of four cards, which can help you find your Heir of Valandil or To the Sea, to the Sea!, or whatever allies you need to fill out your board state. The Last Alliance let's you use your To the Sea, to the Sea! or Heir of Valandil on Noldor OR Dunedain, in addition to the contract already giving you a discount for the first eligible ally. This deck runs more Dunedain than Noldor, so typically the contract will discount the first Noldor ally you play.

I don't play Tale of Tinúviel that often, but occasionally it has come in handy to have a Guardian of Arnor or Fornost Bowman ready again to attack or defend. If all else fails, it can help fuel any of your discard effects.

This deck can be played solo, but it really shines in multiplayer when enemies show up more frequently. Enjoy!

Did you consider Outmatched? That can be a very handy card for keeping enemies engaged!

i would replace the Veteran Sword-elf with 1 Erestor and 2 Wandering Exile or 3 Wandering Exile

I was expecting to see one of the best Trait-based cards in the game in the decklist: Heirs of Earendil

Thank you all for the recommendations!

@Marctimmins89 the reason it's not in the deck is because I often forget that it even exists, though it is a powerful card. The intent originally for this deck was to handle combat in a multiplayer setting, but I could definitely see that being a good side-board card for multiplayer and a great include for solo play. I'll have to give it a try next time!
