My current favourite solo-play deck I can make out of my (modest) collection. Fun to play, and reasonably effective if you get key cards (Nenya) out quickly. Changes a lot, most recent edits may not have been tested much (or at all). Also needs sensible changes for different scenarios (e.g. throw two Forest Snares in there for Journey Along the Anduin).

Strategy: Use Galadriel to draw cards and reduce threat once you get questing under control, then GrĂma to gain the threat back again and have the resources to play those cards. In layman's terms: vomit cards all over the board and declare yourself the winner.

Some card pointers:

-Keys of Orthanc: For Galadriel. Solid resource gen, which can be spent on 2/3rds of the deck with Nenya.

-Unexpected Courage: Give it to Galadriel (assuming you've already got Nenya out), for 4 , threat reduction, and card draw every round.

-Various Ents: These are what win you the game. An army of four or five ents is basically unstoppable. Treebeard with Self Preservation is a godlike defender (use his resources to ready himself).

-Dwarven Tomb: Recycle The Galadhrim's Greeting. Galadriel can stop your threat going up, and then if you can drop it low enough it becomes essentially ignorable as a game mechanic.

-Galadriel's Handmaiden + Grima + Keys of Orthanc = Free 2- ally.

Nice use of Grima to play a tri-sphere deck in solo, without other leadership for resources. With no natural defender in the hero line-up do you find it gets sticky if hit by many enemies early on?

Yeah, early enemies that I can't duck under the engagement cost of can be nasty, but the effect is somewhat mitigated by the fact that Grima means that I can often throw down some sort of ally in round one. I considered a more defense-oriented hero for the Tactics slot, but I don't own any that are actually designed for defense, and Legolas' 3 points of attack are better than anything else I have the ability to deploy.
