Hello,
An other The Riddle-game deck ! My first version has Lothíriel without Eomer ! Oups ! :D
This contract is very interesting for all decks which have not enought of and draw.
I search again the Stone of Elostirion and give it to Thengel.
Many part of the deck is a classic/Alep Rohan with Théoden, Thengel, Gamling, Morwen Steelsheen, Horn of the Mark mechanics.
Háma is the new thing here. The idea is to recurse Worthy of Remembrance on Eomund. We trigger all the Rohan's effects and maybe kill an ennemy with 4 damage. A the same time, we ready all our Rohans characters.
If we don't have Éomund yet, we can play Need Brooks No Delay twice if needed thanks to Háma.
The White Council is very nice here to recurse more and X is considered 0-cost, so it's a very good card to win The Riddle-game.
Thengel will quest and defend with Snowmane and maybe defend again with Light-footed Steed or Unexpected Courage. Morwen Steelsheen will heal him. We have some Feint for the biggest enemies. (or 8 + shadow cancelation with Arwen Undómiel, Inner Strength and Golden Shield ! :D
We don't need many resources, we will have our most expensive allies with Need Brooks No Delay and Thengel, Théoden reduces the cost of the first Rohan ally to start the mechanics.
For the contract we have : 8 0-cost 14 1cost 12 2-cost 10 3-cost 5 4-cost
I hope that 8 0-cost is enought, I suppose it's good thanks to Stone of Elostirion. Don't play your 0-cost card if you have only one !
Enjoy !

Mar 05, 2024He has shadows but doesn't attack. You have to discard a card which the cost is equal to the card's threat. If you achieve 3 times you win and discard the hungry creature, if you lose you discard your thief (the hero with guarded attachment). I agree with you, it helps lot of decks without other contract needed if you can play a good amont of 0-cost cards (~1/3 of encounter cards are treacheries). |
can somebody show, what "hungry creature" do? it seems easy to play around and the benefit of a free guarded attachment is huge.
