The main idea of the deck is to abuse Birna and Beorning Skin-changer to permanentally "cheat" out Giant Bear, Beorning Guardian or Beorn with just one resource.
This strategy, of course, needs Birna in play and a set-up discard pile.
To facilitate this we:
-Take Birna as our Messenger of the King hero.
-Use Widfast to search out Beorning Pony and immediately get 5 cards into the discard pile round 1.
-Add additional deck milling cards like Zigil Miner, Emery and Longbeard Sentry

With Beorn's Welcome and Unexpected Courage on Birna we could in theory play two Giant Bear every round, so the potential ceiling is quite high.
And it's surprisingly consistent to have at least somthing for Birna to pull out at any time.

Questing can be somewhat rough though. Early on Éowyn gives us a nice enough buffer and there are quite a few 1 allies that will help with questing as well. But for some quests that's just not enough.

Combat can also be a bit hard early on before everything is set up. I like to use the first Beorning Pony as a chump blocker to reuse its effect with Birna.
And there is a ~70% chance that you will mill a strong Beorning with your first Beorning Pony but wasting them before the Beorning Skin-changer is setup can feel a bit bad as well.

Additional notes:

-Longbeard Sentry is also a surprising mvp here. If I understand it correctly he should let you mill 14(!) cards every round.

-You could try swapping out Éowyn for other heroes.
She is really just used for her 4 here. If you play with other people who have the questing covered you can pretty much put any Tactics hero here.

-Non-Tactics heroes could be tried out as well but that makes Longbeard Sentry less feasible to bring out early.
Legolas or Éowyn with Elven-light would add a good draw engine in that case though and will let you play more high Spirit allies.
