4P Gondor Fellowship. Use Boromir with Visionary Leadership to boost a swarm of Gondorian heroes and allies across all four player decks.
Noteworthy interactions:
- Most of the cards need no explanation.
- Vigilant Guard with Mithril Shirt means every character on the board gets the Shirt benefit.
- The first Gather conquered should grab the other two for a net effect of each deck getting at least two card tutors for desired tools or combos. Blue should grab Shirt, Thalion, Arwen, Jubayr, Elven-light, or a side quest.
- Since Map only works on Action Events, Tomb is there as a Map target to get back Response effects like A Test of Will and Hasty Stroke.
Mid game goal is get Purple to an empty deck and enter end game. End game goal is Breakfast+Tome+Campfire to draw the rest of the cards and play Vigil, Counsel/Greeting+Map (maybe Key), and traps (with Celador and Damrod) over and over until everyone is at zero threat. Song of EƤrendil may seem like an odd choice, but it draws a card and is there to smooth team threat so that every Vigil and Greeting has maximum effect and to help the team stay under critical levels (like 30 for the Hill Troll in Journey Down the Anduin). In the end game, you'll have at least one Elrond's Counsel each round, which cancels all the threat you and two of your teammates would have gained from end-of-round.
