I put Glorfindel in the game for the healing, and Harry Goatleaf is one of my starting heroes to block some damage from Beorn. I'm really excited to see how this deck turns out, I think this deck will do pretty well! Can Glorfindel heal damage from Beorn because he's a hero? Let me know what I did right and what I need to fix, l'd love the feedback!

For your question, no, Glorfindel cannot heal damage from Beorn. Heroes are still player cards. You can use damage cancellation like Honour Guard or Harry Goatleaf to cancel the damage before it's placed, so I do like your choice of Harry with Beorn.

I think you'll struggle to play many of your cards, they cost too much for one hero. Plus, you have a lot of defenders packed in there, more than you need. I think your deck needs more if you're playing solo.

Tune it up and let us know how it does!

@Sackmoney thank you so much for the helpful comment! I’ll tune it up for sure! I put the Beorning Skin-changers in my deck to get in some free Giant Bears, because who doesn’t want free Giant Bears? Should I still keep the Beorning Skin-changers and Giant Bears?

Giant Bears are fun (and useful) because they can solve the problem of both attack and defense. You don't have a lot of ways to get them in the discard pile to trigger Beorning Skin-changer, just Protector of Lórien and Steed of Imladris, which might be enough.

But I was more thinking of Defender of Rammas and Longbeard Sentry being a bit excessive, especially if you're planning on using Beorn to defend a lot and being able to cancel damage. If you take those out, you might have to rework more of the deck, as I wouldn't see much more use for Round Shield or Wild Stallion.

I'm also not sure about Leather Boots. If you just want a character for its stats, you don't usually need to ready them when a location is revealed, as long as you can stay on top of combat, which shouldn't be too difficult with Beorn. I'm not seeing any characters who would be helpful to ready after questing if you don't have any enemies to do combat with.

That makes sense, thanks!
